Description

Rectangular Biedermeier dining table from France, circa 1820, extendable on both sides.

  • Beautiful solid cherry wood, hand-polished with shellac. 
  • Conical, square tapered legs in solid cherry wood with ebony ring.
  • Expandable on both sides, allowing the table to be extended from 195.5 cm to 301 cm.
  • Two side extension leaves slide under the main top and are supported by long, solid oak planks. 
  • The extension leaves (each approx. 79.5 cm long) are made of a cherry wood frame with chestnut wood in the center.
  • Restored condition.
