Design classic ‚Orix‘ writing desk in Black and Chrome, from Italy, 1970s.
Classic Italian Space Age design, in sculpted black ABS plastic body resting on a high-quality chrome tubular steel base.
- Design: Vittorio Parigi and Nani Prina for 1971.
- Produced by Molteni, Giussano, Italy until circa 1979.
This desk is complete and retains all its original features:
- Original chromed angle lamp, fully functional
- Transparent lift-up glass top in very good condition
- The original footrest with its rubber anti-slip surface, a rare surviving element
With three storage and four book compartments, the Orix desk is both a functional workspace and a collectible design classic.
Good original condition. Expected wear and tear with minor scratches and marks.
